Boiler Installation
Types of boilers:
Combi Boilers: Combi boilers, or combination boilers, are a popular choice for modern homes. They integrate the functions of both a central heating boiler and a water heater in a single compact unit. Combi boilers heat water on-demand, eliminating the need for a separate water storage tank. This design is space-efficient and provides hot water instantly, making it ideal for smaller properties.
System Boilers: System boilers work in conjunction with an unvented hot water storage cylinder, providing a middle ground between combi boilers and conventional boilers. They heat water for both central heating and hot water supply, and the stored water in the cylinder ensures a ready supply of hot water to multiple taps simultaneously. System boilers are suitable for larger homes with multiple bathrooms, offering good water pressure and efficiency.
Conventional Boilers: Also known as regular or traditional boilers, conventional boilers consist of a boiler unit, a hot water storage tank, and a cold-water storage tank. They are suitable for older homes with existing heating and hot water systems. Conventional boilers heat water and store it in the cylinder, ensuring a constant supply.
